For the simple crash or fault, user can check the list below before you send it to us.

1. Cable check and power is properly plugged

2. Change to a normal PC, and use BIOS to detect the hard drive

3. If partition failed, Press F8 to make the Fdisk command in Wn98 Boot Disk or anther working Win98 hard drive to boot.
Notice : Take each step with caution. If you are unfamiliar with this, ask the specialist to check it for you, but remind them there is valued data inside. If it is still unable to work after changing the PCB or adding a partition, the professional Data Recovery Company is needed.

PCB CHANGE
The hard drive divides into the drive itself and the PCB. Hard drive itself only can be opened in the Clean Room by the specialist. For the PCB processing, there are some requires as the following list:

	Familiar with the circuit layout of each manufacturer
	Require the 300MHZ or above Oscilloscope.
	Require the S.M.T. facility
	Require the Data Book of all ASIC.
	Even if the faulty IC has been detected, there is no working IC can be obtained since ASIC is not available in the current market.

Instead of going through all this trouble, the easiest way is to change a same PCB on the drive. If this still not work, the problem will be the drive itself, which is a more serious problem and need to consult a professional Data Recovery Company.

ADD A PARTITION BY USING SPFDisk If the hard drive was infected with virus and the partition was being destroyed, add a partition with the following restrictions may be help:
	Only one partition in the hard drive. (if there are more than 2 partitions, we do not suggest users to try it by themselves because of complicated.)
	SPFDisk only can add a partition. If there was FAT or inventory destroyed, the professional help is needed; otherwise, you will put the state of your hard drive even more badly.


EZRecovery, Final Data or other applications are available for data recovery when the data has been accidentally formatted, or deleted.
